Quiet on the Western Front
January and February 1918 see relatively little fighting on the Western Front. Both sides conduct raids and local operations, but the major offensives have paused for winter. Behind the German lines, Erich Ludendorff trains elite 'stormtrooper' units in new infiltration tactics. Rather than attacking on a broad front after lengthy bombardment, the stormtroopers will bypass strongpoints and push deep into the rear, disrupting communications and supply.
