the place over. Stew Manchester is guiding them. Very little doing all day. Dent Kent come down to wait for relief. Merry goes to bed. Chuck Sweeney brings up our relief at 11:15 P.M. 1st Canadian Field Amb. we show them the system + clear out about midnight pushing our low wheels. well loaded. we stay at Fosse 6 in Angres for the rest of the night. sleep well on the floor. Sat Oct 6. Leave Angres at 4 A.M. to go to Vimy View camp (Montreal Jnct) this is the camp we made out of a bunch of shell holes, it is now a fine collection of buildings + looks real good. we loaf around this camp in the rain until 10:30 AM we then leave for Hospital corner where a pretty rotten meal is dished out to us. we are now all wet thro. we get our packs + march to Grand Servins, arriving there at 4 P.M. wet hungry tire + cold. go to bed early in No 1 hut. Sunday Oct 7. Reveille at 6. Pack up +
