No cases during the night Trip to Paulins at 9 AM. Fritz has shelled out a couple of batteries near the bridge in Angres. hit our road quite a bit. Blunt Dunlop hit in the arm, + Sergt Thorbergerson in the knee, both off to Blighty Sat May 26. First case 4:30 AM (I was fourth out) trip to Paulins fairly quick. Take two patients to Angres. (one a walker) then take out a gassed patient + we clear six in an hour. we do two trips non-stop. no cases during the night. Sunday May 27. Six of us relieve No 1 R.A.P squad. This is a post in the cellar of an old house, the ground floor is a brigade bomb store. The R.A.P. is a couple of hundred yards away. Jack Tait + I fetch a pair of wheels each from Heralds + go to bed at mid-night. had a good supper (cold mutton, green peas, fried spuds + pineapple) called 15 minutes after getting into kip. Get back at 1:30 AM +
